A scout and an editor keep the list honest. Social turns the bulletins into posts. Partnerships, a creator roster, a seasonal plan, and a real traffic count wait until those three are current every week. Each note says what that seat may change, and what it may not.

Local trend scout
Read the Follow list, then TikTok and neighborhood posts only when they name a date and a door. Bring back the name, the date, the address or the words “no address,” the handle, and one sentence.
Do not add a truck, a pop-up, or a rooftop with no pin. Mr. Shrimp and Roof on the Wit stay notes until a door exists.
Lands in: A candidate on Follow, or a bulletin if the date is real.
Now
Lifestyle editor
Confirm the address on the venue’s own site or a current listing. Write the blurb in the house voice, including a mixed review or a closed room. File it under Eat, Nightlife, Out, Stay, or Move.
Do not publish a place you cannot stand behind. MoPho and Maypop stay closed. A season such as Mardi Gras stays on the calendar, not in this week.
Lands in: The public catalog, one menu, one neighborhood cluster.
Now
On-the-ground creator
Film the door and the plate for the things people already search: oysters, snowballs, a second line, a rooftop, a Wednesday run. Fifteen seconds. Neighborhood in the first line.
Do not add listings from a shoot. Hand the clip and the address to the editor.
Lands in: A shot, not a new card, until the editor files it.
Now
Social and community
Turn this week’s bulletins into posts, in date order. One post, one door. Caption is what, when, where, who posted it, and the caveat. If a comment names a place that is not in the app, send it to the scout.
Do not recommend a place in a reply that is not already filed. Do not post gambling.
Lands in: The caption, then the comment that becomes a scout note.

Partnerships
Ask for a perk only from a place already in the catalog: a weekday oyster, a guest pass at a gym, a lobby drink. The perk is a line on that card.
Do not let a sponsor outrank a better door. No pitch that traps a tourist in a presentation.
Lands in: One labeled line on an existing place. Not a new category.

Creator relations
The roster is the Follow page, in the order of counts we actually saw. First calls are Larry Morrow, Tamsy, Buku, DJ Arie, Flavourful Finds, Shay, Nola Miles, and Antwigadee. A collab is a tagged visit.
Do not invent a follower count or a “best of” list to flatter a partner.
Lands in: A guide blurb updated from their latest post, with the date we looked.

Content strategy
The year is already on the calendar: Halloween, Bayou Classic, the oaks, the Sugar Bowl, Carnival, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest. October and November are costumes, football, and City Park. Keep a day in one neighborhood.
Do not pitch Mardi Gras as this weekend. Do not add a feature that makes a visitor cross the city three times.
Lands in: The order of the home page and which bulletin leads.

Read the searches saved on this phone. If the same word keeps showing up and the catalog has fewer than three doors, that word is the next scout assignment. The three piles are food, nightlife, and wellness. The thin pile goes first.
Do not invent traffic, views, or a follower count. This phone is the only counter until a real one is connected.
Lands in: The next scout assignment, written as a search term.
